pooping, peeing, introductions and the doctor

I did not get a chance to post yesterday, so I have some things to post about yesterday as well as today's activities. Yesterday Graham decided to poop on me while I was changing his diaper, once I had that all cleaned up (he did it twice), he proceeded to pee on me. All I can say is that I am just grateful none of it was projectile :) Danika remains unscathed, so I guess we know who his favorite is.

Later in the day he and Dax were finally "formally" introduce. Graham was in his car seat (getting ready to go shopping for new clothes, more on that later) so we put him on the floor and Dax finally had a chance to give him a few licks. They get along very well, no crying from Graham and Dax is not exhibiting any signs of feeling displaced (or unbridled aggression, see this link).

As mentioned above, yesterday Graham also went shopping. Danika and I were both fairly big babies (I was 8 lbs something and Danika 10lbs 4oz) so most of the clothes we got before he was born were for a 8+ lb baby. Since Graham turned out to be such a little whipper-snapper, Graham, Danika, his grandma and Mary (our neighbor) took him shopping for some new clothes that fit a bit better. He got some nice new duds including a sleeper with dinosaurs which I cannot wait to send a picture of him in to his cousin Brock.

I managed to get part of the jungle cut in front of our house yesterday. I was pretty busy getting ready for Graham (getting the car, studying to be a good birth partner, getting his room ready, etc) before he was born and now busy helping take care of him, that our yard and garden have been completely neglected. The area in front of our house, as well as the back and side yard had all pretty much turned into a jungle. Since we have a reel mower, I was going to have to use the weed whacker, or see if I could get a lawn mower to take care of it and it was going to take much more time then normal. Thanks to Marc and Tina (who loaned me their lawn mower) I was able to get the front mowed down. I still have to do the side yard and backyard and weed the garden, but at least now I have got start on it. Perhaps I will get a chance to work a bit more on it this week.

Finally, Graham had a doctor's visit today (4 days old now). I am happy to report he continues to be in good health. He weighed the same today as when we left the hospital and everything else checked out too.

Well, that's it for today, I will try to post again tomorrow, hopefully a bit earlier.
